ボランティア募集：感謝祭ディナー調理のお手伝い
カナダのThanksgiving (感謝祭)は第2週の月曜日に祝います。
感謝祭のディナーの主役はあまり日本では食べることがないローストターキー（七面鳥のロースト）です。
今年は、ローストターキーの作り方を始め、感謝祭ディナーの準備を体験してみませんか？
Kansai Canadian Association (KCA)のMarlene O’Kaneさんの指導の下、10月11日の夕方の恒例のCanadian Thanksgiving Dinnerにみんなで食べるディナーの準備を一緒にしてみませんか？
調理のお手伝いをしていただける方を募集しています。
ローストターキーの下処理と焼き方、スタッフィング*、マッシュポテト、サラダなどを予定しています。
*スタッフィング：ターキーの中に詰めて焼く具材のこと（詰め物）、近年は食中毒防止や均一に火を通すため、実際には七面鳥に詰めず別の皿で焼くこともあります。
In Canada, Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday of October. The centerpiece of a traditional Thanksgiving dinner is roast turkey, a dish that is not commonly eaten in Japan.
This year, why not experience what goes into preparing a Thanksgiving dinner, including learning how to make a roast turkey?
Under the guidance of Marlene O’Kane from the Kansai Canadian Association (KCA), participants will help prepare the dinner that will be served at the annual Canadian Thanksgiving Dinner on the evening of October 11.
We are looking for volunteers to help with the cooking preparations.
The menu is expected to include: Preparing and roasting a turkey, stuffing*, mashed potatoes, salad, and other traditional Thanksgiving dishes.
*Stuffing: A mixture of ingredients traditionally placed inside the turkey before roasting. In recent years, however, it is often baked separately in a dish to ensure even cooking and reduce the risk of food poisoning.

※Note that the venue for the cooking event is different from where the Thanksgiving dinner party will be held.

・両日参加する必要はありません。一日だけでも大丈夫です。

・準備した料理は食べれないことご了承ください。食べたい方は別途Thanksgiving Dinner Partyへのご参加が必要です。
・Thanksgiving Dinner Partyへの参加をご希望な方は別途指定の締切までThanksgiving Dinner Partyへの登録と参加費の振込お願いいたします。
・You do not need to participate on both days; joining for just one day is perfectly fine.
・You are welcome to stop by whenever it is convenient for you. However, we would appreciate it if you could register in advance so that we can keep track of how many people will participate.
・Note that you will not be able to try to food cooked at the event. If you would like to eat the food, please register and participate in the Thanksgiving Dinner Party.
・Those wishing to attend the Thanksgiving Dinner Party held on October 11 at the KRAC, must separately register for the event and pay the participation fee by the specified deadline.
